

"On the nose" nose art exhibit / 18 replicas of aviation "nose art" painted on salvaged metal from actual RAF and RCAF bombers and fighters of World War II - created by Canadian researcher, author and artist Clarence Simonsen. Runs through August 30, 2009.


Sunday, March 29, 2009 / Behind Closed Doors: Half-price admission. Noon to 4:00 pm. Discover historic aircraft being refurbished in the Restoration Shops and talk with the crew. Peek at the Library and Archives rare treasures and have a private tour. Jump into the open cockpits of our F-86 Sabre Jet, the Beech Musketeer and the CF-101 Voodoo Simulator (by donation). Pretend you're a pilot at the dress-up station.
