Grade 5 / 6: Two hours
We teach the principles of flight and tour the historical aircraft in the hangar. The four forces of flight will be studied through an interactive presentation, audience participation and entertaining demonstrations.
Students will learn how civilian, military and cargo planes led to adaptations and innovations in aerodynamics.
How does something heavier than air fly? Air pressure, wing span, horsepower, speed - it's a fun-filled lesson in science, history and more!
To book a tour, call 786-0730 or email our Program Coordinator.
